CleanAviation.org – Independent Consortium for Airport Decarbonization

Destination 2026

This website is launching soon.

CleanAviation.org is an independent European consortium dedicated to accelerating the operational decarbonization of airports. The consortium brings together airports, technology providers, energy companies, ground-handling operators, logistics specialists and public stakeholders committed to advancing battery technologies, hydrogen, SAF, clean power sources and zero-emission airport systems.

The consortium follows a bottom-up approach: it identifies the relevant operational actors across the airport ecosystem and enables them to collaborate, align capabilities, and turn strategic intentions and regulatory frameworks into concrete, real-world implementation projects.

Mission: To establish a collaborative structure that gives all participating actors a shared platform to initiate, develop and realise airport decarbonization projects — bridging the gap between planning, regulation and operational execution.

The Consortium enables

  • A shared platform for all operational actors involved in airport decarbonization

  • Identification and integration of the companies, technologies and infrastructures needed for hydrogen, SAF and clean-power deployment

  • Structured collaboration between airports, suppliers, operators and public stakeholders

  • Industry visibility for members contributing to zero-emission airport systems

  • Acceleration of concrete projects by aligning planning, funding, operations and technology deployment

Independence & Disclaimer

The CleanAviation.org Consortium is independent and not affiliated with the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking (CAJU) or clean-aviation.eu.
Its work focuses on practical implementation, stakeholder coordination and strategic visibility across the European airport ecosystem.
